Has anyone had their manager call them and tell you to get surveys done, the ones on receipts? We are constantly called upon to take surveys on any receipt we can find or any phone order receipt. Of course give all 10s, even though there is no way in hell we deserve it!

Yes and I sick and tired of it.I agree if the customer wants to they will.I feel it's my job to give good customer service,if they don't complain that's good enough for me.
Well the store in lafayette la on Ambassador the pro employees are taking money under the table for giving stuff away not ringing up stuff are giving discounts
I went to get glasses at Lowe's in house optometrist. I got 2 of 10 sample letters correct. Doc said he wasn't allowed to give anyone lenses unless they got 0 out of 10.
Even back in the late 1970's when I was taking business classes, surveys like the ones on receipts were looked down upon as the least reliable measure of customer satisfaction, or interest in returning to shop again, because they are so prone to abuse.
All 3 of our head cashiers are doing this. They look for receipts left behind by customers (especially from self checkout) and then fill them out giving the store all 10’s. They also always mention a cashier by name on the front end to ensure they get recognition for a job well done. This is all done off Lowe’s WIFI. I was asked numerous times to fill them out but declined. The entire program is a joke, but Marv and Joe don’t seem to care.
In my store 3 ASMs purchase candy and bottles of pop and water and little dollar products with cash and give them out to employees and tell them to go take the survey when they get home on their personal computers, we also give PROs a bigger discount if they give us 10s. We have over 100 complaints in the system and a 98 LTR
Slippery slope there...store managers have been fired for that one
Yes. My store manager has asked people several times to fill out surveys if we can find receipts. She sits in her office all day and radios us to focus on the surveys when our score gets too low. Never mind scheduling lumber associates and cashiers to help the 15 men standing in lumber who can't find help or get checked out. Epic fail.
This is falsifiable information, and isn’t giving anyone the true representation of how servicing customers is going. Also, there is a way in the reporting, obviously on WiFi it takes it out, but if on data on cell phone, it knows the origin of where it was taken and who’s cellular device. If I were you, I wouldn’t do any of that in which a manager asks you to, in fear of losing your job.
Same scam manager run with call buttons. Go “test” them a few times each shift so the average is lower and it “appears” we are helping customers promptly.
So many managers are scam artists it isn’t funny.
Call AP4ME and give the details from the receipt like the invoice number and date.
They used to do that for influencing the bonus. Then corporate got wind and took it out. People will always find a way to cheat then do the right thing. Why theft is common.
The survey's are so forced down the cashiers and associates throats. If a customer wants to tell you about their great experience, they will on their own. If the customer has a bad experience at a store, they definitely will do the survey and give the store a low score.
Didn’t the entire Bullhead City, AZ store management team get fired for that in like 2013 for that?
All 1 s let them sweat
Don’t do it! Report anyone telling you to take the surveys. If and when corporate finds out, all involved will be terminated. It’s happened in the past and the Store Manager was fired.
Use the store wifi so corporate knows they are coming from associates and not customers.
The surveys are not even used for bonuses. They want us to push them, so they know what is going on in the store.
That sounds like falsifying a Lowe’s document and could be grounds for termination. I wouldn’t do it. If they say look for receipts do it. But don’t take the survey.
