Admit they made some big mistakes. Humility diminishes to nothing as you move up the ranks at SF. They expect it on the front lines but not as you move up. They think humility is a sign of weakness when in reality it is very powerful in conducting business.

Basically modernized a dinosaur into a lean and competitive company. Why is that so hard to see?

They will never admit they made mistakes. Notice that the people responsible for the last round of mistakes are mostly still around making this latest round. That should tell you something right there. Lots of other people paid for their mistakes with their jobs. But not them.
Part of the EOM refresh for first line was Humility, Ownership, Respect or HOR. Pronounced Wh–e and that is what it takes to become upper leadership. Wh–e yourself out to get the promotion. Fitting.
