Transparency is a word used by Humana to make employees think they are being told the truth when they are not. A manager just said in a meeting today that she is trying to Justify keeping our department to corporate. She also mentioned that our reach rate is going in the wrong direction. She is the same manager who assured us that she didn’t think anymore layoffs were coming in 2020. Contradiction, disorganization, & unprofessionalism are words that come to mind when I think of Humana.

Most of the nurses have already updated their resumes because of the uncertainty of lay offs. Maybe management shouldn’t use terms so loosely & it’s better to just be frank with professionals than to beat around the bush & back track statements constantly. I think the employee satisfaction survey reflects the way most of the staff are feeling at this point & time. It’s sad when you find out the truth on sites like these about what is going to happen within your company months before management decides to tell the employees.
We all have a choice - agree with above. Stop griping. If you don't like it update your resume and start job hunting. It's in your hands, not Humana's.
Isn’t the manager telling you this transparent? Just because it’s not what you want to hear or believe what’s true doesn’t mean she’s not honest!! Case management programs have little to no ROI. It’s not about you having a job it’s about our members!
Then quit if you hate it. No one is chained to the job
Oh my goodness, tired of manager saying she is being transparent, they are told to use this word instead of giving the truthful facts as they are looking out for themselves as well.
Miserable place to work.
