That’s genius, having lower volume stores fill for higher volume stores.

Low script RX will fill for high volume Rx through ready fill , curriers will deliver to high volume Rx .the script count will go to large volume Rx , low volume Rx will only transfer the script and get no credit . Once lease is up this Rx will close

PCMA——who our COO is the head of, just released a statement where they said: FYI, pharmacist are paid 51% higher than average healthcare worker (whatever an average healthcare worker is). They are trying to say our salaries are the reason for rising d–g costs, not his 16million salary. Sounds like someone who wants to keep us around right??

Just do your job, don’t hassle your leader and you’ll have no problem. The people who make problems are normally the ones who have a problem. These people think they’re great, they’re always doing their job, and they are just being “picked on”. The trick to keeping you job when layoffs arise is to make sure your boss likes and respects you and you don’t cause headaches for them. If you can’t say you’ve done that, then it’s too late to start now. Lesson learned

If CVS goes the way of Walmart and guts the pharmacy, then I don’t know what to say. It’ll be real bad if they do that.

This is true. DL just told us today. They are decreasing hours of operation and overlap everywhere so they’ll cut loose pharmacist. Get rid of high paid old timers and higher low paid new ones with loans

Where's the proof of this?

Walmart has done a real number on their pharmacies, laying off too many people to count. From what I have read, now their going to do a real number on the front store too! Don't understand what these retail companies are doing? Cutting everything down to bare bones skeleton crews is NOT the answer.

What I will tell you, is Walmart did a very good job of keeping the RX layoffs out of the news. It barely made any news at all. Walmart kept a good lid on all that bad press. And, the people who were laid off, had ZERO prior knowledge. Some RX people came into work one morning, and a few hours later they were escorted off the premises by security, no notice, just goodbye you're being let go. Heartless and cruel is what it is. You work years for a company and they drop you like a hot potato, completely out of the blue!

All this having been said, do you guys really think this couldn't happen at CVS? Cvs corporate is good at secrecy. It wouldn't shock me one darn bit if this were true. It's exactly how retail companies operate. Cut, cut, cut. And when your done, cut some more! Look at cvs corporate... FS hours have been cut to the bone. Some stores operating at 1-2 people per shift! Some stores going to RX hours in december/january... rumors that 2020 store budgets are gonna be bad. Figure it out... The Amazon effect is REAL, and nobody wants to become the next Sears.

99% of stores barely have pharmacist to cover the stores
Tight on floaters - unless we plan on closing 1 day a week - I don't see it
I do see lowering of $ for college grads , I'm not in denial but where would I cut when there's no extra
And before u start saying new grads to fill - no cause that plan would have to be in place and it is not

Looking at the timing of cascading information. DVPs cascading to RDs between 10/14-10/16. RDs cascading to DLs 10/17-10/18. Therefore, so far everything on here is BS. I don’t think a DVP or RD posting on the layoff.com. Everyone calm down.

Except the new benefits package for 2020 states that no salaries will be affected.

Mostly pharmacist. Confirmed today, many DL were brought in today to give them information. They pick in November which pharmacist go and which stay.

We are following Walmart. Next year salary will be cut for highest paid pharmacists.
