Head over to the Lowe’s Reddit page and check out the Business Insider article they have posted in regards to the morale issues at Lowe’s. Pretty spot on. They are going to have a hard time putting spin on this factual information.

Just read the Business Insider article. SOOOOO TRUE! There is NO employee morale in our store with many experienced employees already gone and those who remain actively searching for new jobs. Marvin and Joe are sinking what WAS a great company. Don't know how to do it but Lowes employees need a UNION!

they will keep having the stores take it because its way corporate can weaponize every decision they make against the stores and those who run them. just like customer surveys being used against you....this is no different. blame the associates in the aisles...blame the management in the stores for not turning water into wine.
everyone in the stores as a showing of solidarity should rate their stores and everyone in them at the highest score and every question that can be directed at corporate should be rated the lowest. send the message that the stores demand change from the TOP!
Our EOS was so bad last year they didn’t post the results. According to an associate friendly ASM it was the lowest the store had ever received, he’s been here since the beginning.
This year it’s going to be ever worse.
No wonder they renamed it.
Wait until the stores get the results of Employee Opinion Survey. That’s coming up this Monday October 14. Our store didn’t even discuss the results of the last survey they did and that was BEFORE all this craziness started. The results were just terrible, which is why I thought they shelved the EOS. I guess they just want to confirm how bad the morale situation actually is.
To the Lowe’s corporate managers who come to this site, the morale in the company is horrific. Even the senior managers bad mouth the company openly. Yeah, that’s right, not even the ASMs and Store managers are willing to put a smile on this pile of c-appola you’ve created. You’re losing people like crazy because of the misery you’ve created in the stores. All of this is going to appear in your numbers soon, so you better think of a good explanation as to why your profitability is tanking. You can’t cost cut to boost your stock price forever so you better think of a good excuse quick. I’m heading off to a new job soon, so good luck mor0ns.

I saw that, one of the other associates at my store is mentioned in the article. We are having a hard time getting people to work for us. They keep pulling people off the floor to be cashiers. More customer facing associates? Not at my store.
