The long term company policy is to remove animals and be the Disney South. The fact that they can't do anything because of the California Coastal Commission make little $$$ value so their master plan is set. Wait until the last polar bear is shipped off and then watch all the new rides in San Diego.

SD doesn't have a polar bear anymore. Haven't for some time now.
More like Six Flags South. Disney builds well themed multi-billion dollar lands. With no animals = Six Flags. Already turning into the same quality of product with all the cost cuts. Quality used to be outstanding at SEA, turning more and more to be really bad. It is what it is. Since SIX came out of bankruptcy in 2009, they have done well. Over $500M+ in EBITDA each year. Their parks are a dump and everything except the pass to get in costs a fortune. That is what the SEA model will turn in to. Its already happening. That is the regional theme park model that makes money and ROI for investors. Animals and animal staff cost too much. Rescue will stay around longer, its good for PR.
