Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

PTO/Sick Time COMPUTER GLITCH!!WTF

Riddle Me This.... So 4 weeks ago the computer says I have 61:54 PTO hours available and 145:59 sick time available.
I called out sick twice and took 3 days vacation at the end of the month. I come back to work and the computer says i don't have enough PTO for 2 of my vacation days. My balance for both is now 0. WTF!!!
I talk to my manager and all he can come up w is, "it must be a computer glitch."
Can someone explain this!? I am still out my pay. If I didn't have the time, I would not have taken the time off.
How is this right? What can I do about it? And has this happened to other associates? I have the picture on my phone and it is date stamped, showing I had PTO AVAILABLE.

Every pay, I pull up my pto time and print it out. No doubt a glitch. It has saved me because I found an error from one pay to the next.

If it wasn't your log in, you would have no calls, no shows on your attendance. So you know for sure your log in was the right one.

I'm in total agreement. A red flag should have come up. Also, the time clock should not allow you to clock in before the 9 minute mark. It use to notify you if you tried to clock in 15 minutes early, why not 9 minutes?!!!

Thank you for your replies. I'm pretty sure it was my login, since it asked me twice to login.
I was paid for one of my vacation days as well.
As for printing anything, that option is no longer available.
I can't believe this "Major" company deleted its HR department, which was only 1 person. Now you have to waist time asking 10 people for an answer.
As for my screen shot, my name is not visible.
It's just ridiculous that the computer would make this mistake and let you take the time off, even if it wasn't available. A red flag should have come up as soon as I put in for it stating the time was not available.

Be sure to print out from the history tab on GTA Portal. Plus have printouts of your ETA week(s) in question.

You will need your check stubs to prove how much PTO you had and have. Stubs will show total and anything used in that pay period. Get those first and you can call benefits. Does your screen shot show your name on the GTA Portal screen?

Or when u signed in recently to check ur PTO, did u verify it was ur sign on on the right hand corner. Make sure it’s u that’s actually logged in and make sure your picture shows ur sign on... That’s the only computer glitch I know of, GTA portal usually shows line for line and hour for hour whatever is used and whatever is accumulated.

If person #2 asked for time off on person #1's sign-on, the pay would have gone to person #1, not person #2.

Do the days that you asked off match up might not been logout fully then the person behind you asked for time off thinking it was there log in its happen at my club a few times
