Never thought I would see the day when a work from home job is worse than working a job in the field. The stresses of having to produce a high number of productivity daily is unreal. Wellness has no place here. High blood pressure, and anxiety is on the arise with some of my coworkers.

I came onboard in 2009, when program called “ HUMANA cares”, we were care managers. Told we would be their care manager for as long as had HUMANA. Well that ended up being a lie! As were many other things
I was in the lay-off in feb 2018, funny how my job was posted same day. Talk about a slap in the face after 9 years of devotion. Pathetic pay, never get a cost of living raise, annual raises were minimal if at all! The expectations were unreasonable and that was “reasons “ for no raises. Then they started yearly bonus where ya got 1000 at end of year and wow we were to be happy. All while COO made millions even his bonus was millions
Pathetic company and so glad and blessed I am gone
It’s true... at least for me. Even with Dr note I couldn’t come back PT after Short term disability ran out. It’s just a matter of time for me... my roster continues to grow... and yes.. diagnosis of depression and anxiety... first time in my life
Poster tcg...please keep posting. I am going to carefully and thoughtfully research every aspect of your information. It is time to speak out! Thank you.
poster lom- thanks for the info. here is some other useful background info as pertains to Humana and its method of operation. Hopefully, will shed some light. Further to job related stress; a few points to bear in mind. Humana and all health insurers are currently in checkmate. Their big plan has been thwarted. These companies are not good investments nor do they make good work environments. They are less than patriotic. In 2010, Health insurers had been banking on massive returns from Obamacare. However, in order for Humana et al to operate effectively under the gov't Obamacare bail out scheme they needed the addition of phase 2 - or a global trade deal, like the TPP, which would have allowed millions of immigrants into the country with access to Obamacare thereby overflowing the Humana coffers. Open borders would also have allowed Humana to employ an entirely new workforce at a greatly reduced wage – giving us the globalist vision of health care shangrila. However, fate stepped in and threw them a curve ball. Obamacare never made it to phase 2 or the global trade deal. The deal was shredded in 2016. Thereby, leaving Humana et al adrift at sea. Humana is currently operating under plan B - or dismantle phase- pulling out of Obamacare in 2018 when it finally became clear that phase 2 TPP, the money plan, was non operational. Until a new global trade deal is within grasp, Humana et al are in limbo. They continue to hope and wait. Regrettably they are deluded. This will never come to fruition
Unum is collaborating with Humana by denying short term disability benefits at end of FMLA. Then, they fire or PIP employee or force them to quit through harassment.
OK. So I am naming a few situations here but unfortunately, cannot give contact information on this site.....
I have located at least 4 other people that have had the EXACT same scenario. We now have a network and if you are comfortable, call your coworker privately. Chances are we have each others number for point of contact.... Here is the scenario and then I will give you another I have been made aware of...
1) You worked at Humana for more than 5 years and were mandatorily moved to a telephonic care manager position last October where you were harassed by being written up or having your short term disability cancelled and subsequently fired or forced to resign for unexcused absences.
2) You had an accent and were given multiple PIPS.
3) You have experienced stress, anxiety, difficulty sleeping......
If you can contact one of the 21 others, there are at least 5 of us so chances are that one of them has contact info and I have also been made aware through Humanas managers of multiple other care managers and Managers who have experienced similar harrassment from Humana.
It's getting real here folks. Time to stand up and put a stop to this. It couldn't last forever Humana. Game over. Time to fight back.
And yes... HCCP. Name the harrassment and despite the smart alecks and naysayers on here, it is time to speak up and get cohesive.
What department do you work in? I know HCCP is very stressful
