It has been crazy stressful for nearly two years. Will we ever catch a break?

In 1-2 generations we'll have nearly full automation. If capitalists concede nothing then we will have riots and revolution at best and lower standard of living conditions without any hope of social mobility at worst. And right now it looks like the latter is our default future.
pretty typical in retail if you no longer want to compete with other retailers offering slightly more pay than minimum wage to just accept fate and race to the bottom. the govt. gives corporations incentive money to hire people who are collecting welfare checks or are felons. so not only will they pay less but theyll get rewarded for doing it.
stuff is so backwards.....if the taxpayer is literally funding your business through these hiring incentive programs your ceo should only be allowed to make the median annual salary of all workers. if X percent of your workforce also has to collect welfare checks or be put on medicaid.....your ceo again should only be allowed to make the median amount.
the wealth transfer in this country that is destroying the middle class must end. were now essentially 1-2 generations away from a master-serf construct in this country.

It is so pathetic, the quality of the workers they are hiring these days, and almost all are part timers. I would not doubt if they are just going down to the local bridges and handing out application. Lowes has become like septic tank...just a big box full of sh–.
Best bet is to get out now. There is no normal in retail anymore, especially under Marvin. He will try every trick in the book to raise stock prices (which clearly isn’t working). Once the powers that be realize he is all smoke and mirrors, they will move on to the next failed CEO. It’s not possible to recover from the damage that has been done. The great people who once worked at Lowe’s are mostly gone. The reputation of Lowe’s is terrible in the public eye hence why open positions are nearly impossible to fill. Get out of retail in general! It’s a sinking ship.
This is our new normal. Get used to it or get out. I’m choosing to get out ASAP! Suggest you do the same.
