Unease

Anyone else’s managers acting strange? Some of ours are getting mean and others are acting like they expect to be hit!

@1mde You made your decision to be a manager. Management in retails s—s b@ll$, so you quit whining and live with your decision.

I do t want to hear anyone cry about losing their sick time. Managers DON’T get any sick time let alone are they allowed to call in unless there’s a death in the family. Managers give up more than you can imagine. When there’s corporate visits & managers are off or even on vacation we get called into work to ensure our areas are on par & have no misses... we put in 60-70 hours a week sometimes with NO breaks or lunches. 3 managers lost a minimum of a weeks to 10 days vacation because our CM wouldn’t let us use it all & ours do not carry over like an hourly associate! So please quite you’re moaning & groaning because at least at my club we give up so much of our personal lives to run that place & have to deal with bratty entitled associates who “hate their job or don’t want to actually work “! Seriously good luck finding a job after 20 years getting the pay you are & having the amount of PTO you accrue

All last month and this month managers at my club are all taking PTO. How does it feel? Now the shoe is on the other foot. Lucky for them they know what they are up against, most of us did not. We have so much sick leave that we will never use and will eventually lose because they have made it impossible for us to even touch it.

Someone in management acting mean? Sounds normal to me. Market managers all act like they own our sorry butts and we should all bow down. Screw them!

They do this every year. Managers should be used to it by now.

Me personally, I couldn't deal with those mind games.

My store manager has looked extremely stressed since the switch. Fill bad for him. Great guy. Worked under him for 17 years.
