HCCP RN here. I looked up three social workers yesterday who were working with several of my members and they are no longer at Humana. Social workers have been almost two weeks behind on referrals. Are people being laid off or have people been leaving and they’re not being replaced? I have never seen them this behind.

I noticed that too. Several of them are just “gone”, all at once. Not moved to other positions internally because they no longer even have Humana email. Just gone. We were told they have hired many new ones, but it will take them a while to get up to speed.
I experienced the same thing. Have never tried to reach out to so many social workers and they were no longer with Humana. Something is definitely up
They are overwhelmed with a huge queue to deal with, it may take some time. Some are leaving for other roles in the company, normal growth and promotion of career.
