Probably operations jobs like call center, collections? Companies usually eliminate those jobs first but looks like the bank is doing a lot more sweeping in all areas.

The wealth management program is an absolute joke. Just a bunch of highly paid bankers sitting back and waiting for home equity loans to be referred to them or slapping lines of credit on CDs and investment accounts the advisors do. Yet the people who actually work get laid off.

Look at 20 years ago when “back office jobs” were eliminated due to inefficiencies. Or don’t you remember that? Accounting offices were consolidated trust positions were eliminated we created wealth management. It’s all in the name of evolving for our customers. No job is secure not even mine. Please keep your options open keep your resume updated and look for something that you like to do. If you are worried about a company removing your position, I recommend you become self-employed
