Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Will Concord, CA (Swift offices) be a hub?

So much talk about hub strategy. Wondering is only SF will be a hub in CA. (There's Oakland, Concord, offices in SoCal, etc.)

Please only weigh in on CA if you know.

Emphasis on "what the future holds."

Concord, you're out.

Saw jobs posted today with the location info below – not sure what the future holds, but Concord is currently being considered a hub:

"Location/s: Charlotte, NC; Minneapolis, MN; Des Moines, IA; San Francisco, CA; Concord, CA- strongly preferred but other hub locations may be considered."

BAsed on the presentations I’ve seen, the only west coast hub cities are Phoenix and Portland. TRhisbis for wholesale sobit may be different for other divisions. The site selection was based on local labor costs (think area 2 or 3 vs expensive area 0 and 1) and the cost of leasing space.
