Interesting that these new positions that were created mirrir positions that were eliminated and when tenured employees are applying they dont even get the courtesy of an interview but instead , they receive an email stating they are not qualified. How can you not be qualified for a job you have fir 20 years plus! I think this restructure is just Usbank trying to get pritection from age discrimination. Curious to know ages of everyone laid off.

The same thing happened to me. Every time I applied for a job in another department, I received a cold, rude response from someone in HR, stating I was unqualified. I was actually overqualified. I had 26 years experience working in banking, 38 years of 10-key by touch, 38 years of typing, a BA degree, was articulate, well-versed in many things. I left US Bank almost a year ago, because the writing was on the wall. I feel sorry for what you are going through.
Why would you attack a person (concerning grammar, of all things) just posting their frustrations about being let go after years of service by a cold, callous, manipulating mega-bank focused solely on profits and shareholders with absolutely no regard for their employees or customers?
The poster, along with all US Bank employees, has every right to be p-ss-d and should investigate the possibility of a lawsuit. At the least, these layoffs are immoral and unethical and fills one's nostrils with the unmistakable stench of illegality.
Also, regarding your unnecessary, pointless, and rude response, you really need a comma after the word "paragraph" seeing that it's a subordinate clause and all. A–hole!
First of all grammar police, you must work in HR for the bank. Its USBank's loss for letting go extreme talent. You may judge all you want however, my resume is second to none. It wont be long until your expendable! Good luck and I will pray for your soul! Your going to need it!
If your resume looks anything like this simple paragraph you just tried to type I can see why they said you weren’t qualified...
This is currently happening to me!
