anybody notice more things getting blocked lately?
It doesn't matter if you are using your phone or a Fiserv device, you will be tracked either way.
The real test will be if legacy Fiserv has to give back their phones and instead has to install Centrify.
First Data doesn't provide company phones, instead associates load Centrify software on their personal phone. Yes we pay for the privilege of being tracked wherever we go. Leaders can monitor location of the device to know if its in the office all day or slipping out early. Funny enough the motto for Centrify is 'Zero Trust Privilege' LOL, there is no trust with FB.
Wow, so much for trust and confidence in your associates. For those who have company iPhones are they monitoring them too?
FB has blocked personal email, social media plus a lot of other non-work related sites for a long time from First Data associates. Stage 2 is to lock down your computer, external storage, no USB access, company standard desktop, no end-user customization, etc. Stage 3 is sapience buddy to monitor your PC usage and report your productivity to leadership. Don't worry Fiserv friends its coming soon, I know because I'm original FD.
Has anyone come out and admitted why? Or are they just trying to keep people from applying for other jobs while at work?
LinkedIn blocked now too.
Yep. It was blocked company wide three weeks back. It gets worse. If you haven't heard yet of "Sapience Buddy," Google it. As of yesterday, it was officially communicated to all FGS associates that this service is now running on all of their workstations, regardless of geography. Word on the street is that, after a short FGS pilot, and assuming that the pilot produces positive results in productivity increases, Sapience will be deployed to all associates. And let's face it... FGS being what FGS is, it's already guaranteed that the pilot will produce "positive" results.
Not to mention that the whole Sapience program has been THE pet project of Matt Figurski since before he became the keynote speaker at Sapience Analytics' IAOP World Outsourcing summit earlier this year.
Big Brother is here.
Well if you are accessing personal stuff on corporate asset ......
I'm sure they're scanning and blocking a lot of activity. Many unhappy people inside FISV offices who are spilling the beans about what a sh$t show this merger has become.
Team Orange, if you're going to share, use a VPN.
