Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

its amazing working the night shift...

no conference calls. no bosses. no meetings. also, no information, no town halls, no one passes down anything anyone in any "leadership" position says... all I know about the company is what I read here and I am already MR75 qualified. It is a hell of a world to be a "valued" employee yet know nothing more about what is going on with your job and your future than the trolling and BS that gets posted here. my department is rarely mentioned... my management team is rarely discussed here.

Don't rip on the Night Worker. I'm glad this person found a good job with low stress/hassle. I wish I had been that fortunate. Got outsourced in Mar 2019. Keep that job and enjoy the time you have. But.............Know what MR75 has for you. For me it was NOTHING but full pension. I missed that by 1.5yrs.

These days a lot of the overnight groups don’t have dedicated Mgrs for skeleton crews but rather Mgrs on call due to cut backs. Typically you only see that Mgr a few days a month and that is to perform work or safety observations unless there is face to face information that leadership deems necessary to cover in that manner. Hell, even when links are sent out about town halls they are not actually watched but rather accessed and ignored for the specific period of time.

Hope I do not turn into you one day. 75 qualified and still working here. Do us all a favor next time you post. Don't talk about your life on here. Post layoff information if you have any.
