Been hurt and injured the last year. They had me training a temp worker before I took medical leave. I missed time due to injury. Finally was able to come back yesterday and was called to the office and informed “it’s in the companies best interest to move on”. “Thank you for your service”.

Thanks! Will look into it. I’m sure this happens all over. I do know at my former plant. The status quo is to break down the veterans and dedicated in favor of temps.
Another note is the temp I was training is a very beautiful gal. Maybe that had something to do with it. Who knows?
Go see an attorney. There was a recent judgement against Dean for $3.3 million for something that sounds very similar. Maybe company thinks they can still do things like this because they won't be in business by the time any suit gets filed.
