Oracle employees are TOTALLY getting a xmas bonus this year!
LE will personally hand-write all the checks. He cleared his calendar for the entire month of December just so he can hand-write these bonus checks.

Get a job somewhere else if you want a bonus.
Demand a bonus. If you boss complains there is no budget. Demand stock tell him it saves the company money, which it does. Tell him you want stock option grants.
Seriously? Doubtful. When I transferred over from OU to Consulting, I was lucky enough to get a bonus (which helped my disappointment over losing my "overtime"; I know, whomp, whomp :) ). But I think I received one, maybe two bonuses and then it all stopped.
So, OP, I wouldn't expect a bonus. And watch if you get a raise. I got a raise and a promo and then was RIF'ed shortly after.
Get your resume updated and keep your general skills sharp. That's my unasked-for advice for this week.

I've never heard of bonuses at O being timed to coincide with the Christmas holidays. When they do happen, which is not very often (at least in our org) they are usually sometime during the summer months.

The closest I’ve had to a Christmas bonus in 10 years at Oracle in the US was the year our annual bonuses were delayed from September to December.
I'm the biggest Negative Nancy so I think the closest we'll get to a bonus ever is the severance package if we get layedoff before xmas.
Yes, the day before Christmas LE and S.C. are going to experience ginormous pangs is guilt and award all current and former oracle employees bonuses to the tune of $1 million each.
