As a assistant manager who had been with the company over 16 years I’m scared the new client relationship consultant role won’t pay comparable since I was already at level higher than others in our market. Anyone else received feedback of the highest salary range for this new role?
If we apply and receive a low offer and turn it down we lose our severance, we all want to be careful!
Yes, they purposefully changed their severance policy not quite two years ago so as to not have to pay out severance pay in the 4000 people in the Operations Department. The revised policy states that they will only pay you severance if they don't offer you a job that is not more than 50 miles away and pays 80% of what you are paid in your current position. I ended up resigning a year ago and moving across the country. This was after they first cut our hours. We knew our jobs were definitely going to be eliminated eventually.. They are complete scoundrels and HR is definitely involved in the duplicity.
It’s all about perceptions. They’ll hire a small percentage of you into those roles however the rest will come from the outside. I’ve seen this happen before at other banks.
Than why we are getting phone interviews?
None of you will get these roles. They’ll go to shady sales people from outside. Think bottom feeder bankers and cellphone sale people.
They will cut 20% of your current salary.
