At least 1 person let go from Gale SF this week. That person had survived the SF office closure and was working from home.
100% even though he mostly stayed at his real house in the Hamptons.
The ONLY reason NYC existed was to justify Hansen and a senior marketing leader living in New York. That's it. Millions of dollars wasted yearly on office space so two elitists didn't have to suffer the horrors of living in Boston or GASP Middle America.
Sounds like it is NYC, which makes some sense, as NYC office is a good bit smaller than Clifton Park. A good deal, about 10-12% of Cengage product comes out of Clifton Park, after all. Though then again they did shutter SF, so you never know. But it does sound like it was Monterey and NYC.
