@11KkJ89B-zpv we were not asking you. We were asking those who work for Humana, not people who might have known somebody who worked here.

They will get those who have been employed longer because they generally make more. I’ve known people who work there. The company has no loyalty to employees and current CEO regularly cashes in on stocks. He wants to make his bottom line bigger at the expense of his servants. Pure evil and greed if you ask me.

  • Last day is 12/31.
  • Receiving 2 weeks severance per year of service (14 years for me).
  • Vacation/benefits/etc continue to accrue until 12/31
  • Vacation will be paid out up to your annual accrual.
  • Will receive annual incentive sometime in March.

Humana describes the severance period in five steps:

Severance or monetary pay based on years of service with the company, and in keeping with Humana policy.
Continued medical, dental, and vision benefits during the severance period.
Extended use of Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services.
If an employee is enrolled in school, college, or a graduate program and using Humana-provided tuition reimbursement, Humana will pay tuition through the end of the current semester.
The opportunity to convert and continue life insurance coverage through a personal pay plan.

last time it was 2 weeks for every year of employment up to so many. So I am sure they are looking at the new comers since the cut will be less money.
