Got rid of tellers and branch managers (first point of contact to customer). Want 75-yr olds to understand how to use your c-appy website and c-appy mobile tools? Everywhere from Anne M Janke to J Bilden to S Levang, all incompetence and no positive impact to the customer from any of these multimillion dollar projects that go to waste. Anyone that works for a company as large as US Bank has to be cognizant of your surroundings at all times. Positions become obsolete over time. If you keep your eyes and ears open, you know when your position is on the chopping block. Make yourself an asset and constantly climb the ladder. It isn't that difficult.
Hey, Ridiculous. The assistant managers at my branches never had time to do operational functions BECAUSE they were ALWAYS meeting with customers. The branch staffs were kept so lean, there was very little support for what was left of the staff. And, the Teller Coordinator position WAS eliminated leaving many high and dry.
I am or was an assistant manager even when we had the auditing duty I opened accounts and did loans. I faced customers every day for 22 years. Yea. The lateral move wasn’t posted for my branch.
Assistant managers were already meeting with customers. OSS still hasn’t taken a ton out of branches.
: @11GZr5g0-hsw Amen! So much misinformation
They didn’t get rid of tellers and branch managers. They changed the role of assistant branch managers and it will be a lateral move for those employees. It was originally an operational role but it no longer has those duties in the branch because they want those people MEETING with CUSTOMERS!
