MH served a purpose: being the bad guy who laid people off. They either have to find another MH or they’ll do nothing. LE and S.C. don’t need somebody else to help them make decisions, they’ll perfectly happy to make them themselves, full of themselves as they are.
How about the autonomous CEO? Works 0/7, feeds on mega watts of power, and doesn't do jack.
They are giving ES some visibility. But can he sell???? If not, have to cut and cut.
At the same time they keep pushing the wit and wisdom of who they call "Our Leader" with videos of his founder fireside chat.
Not to diss what he accomplished early days, but shows what a leadership gap O has that they need to keep him relevant.
Carly Fiorina she laid off 30K @ HP and is 65.
I doubt that a replacement for MH will be named. LE will make the bigger decisions and SC will make the not so big ones.
It is not an election.
I think it's complicated. If I had to pick one from the candidates LE sent to the Board I'd vote for SM. DJ has fallen from LE's grace so he is out. Still I don't think any of them will make the cut of cost cutter. I belive, in the end they will pick up an unexpected external dude to fulfill that role
