Not the 8-K; its the 10-K Annual Report. Last one stated "As of January 31, 2019, we employed approximately 268,000 persons. Approximately 40% of our employees are represented by the Communications Workers of America (CWA), the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) or other unions."

The count is 200,000
Most importantly, don’t forget our flag !!!!!
Would the last American to leave please turn off the lights and take the flag?
They'll file a 8-K. The one for the end of 2018 says 268,220. There will be an 8-K filed the day of the earnings call, which will have headcount as of Sept 30, 2019. Got to read between the lines, because people were moved to IBM and so forth.
Elliot is screaming bloody murder in part because of AT&T's anemic employee reductions.
