@11AKonmc-1bex The forum owes you nothing and you owe the forum nothing so there's no need to bear a grudge.

If your posts are against the people who got laid off then your posts will be deleted. What a joke this website is. This website wants you to say the company is evil and all people who got laid off are victims.

By gutting R&D at HP he improved the immediate profits at the expense of the future of the company. From being a leader it became a "me too" company. It is difficult to think of any field in which it is still a leader let alone THE leader.

Gutting R&D in any technical firm is a guarantee of eventual death.

I do not think thelayoff.com is a real media website. I posted the first reply to this thread was removed by this website admin after couple hours. What a joke. It was not an offend post since there were a lot of people agreed with me.

Interesting that they only announced he was sick when Bloomberg contacted them for comment on a story about it . Given how soon he passed away after that, we're they going to keep it secret until he died?

I wouldn't be surprised if that was the plan. Oracle doesn't really need anyone at the helm.... it runs by itself with parts of it just auto-magically melting away on their own. It's a sh—show all the way around. At the end of the day, I expect that MH was "CEO" just because LE owed him one for something else, not because he was the best man for the job.

Sad, so sad. Oracle is such a mess, running on auto-pilot.

@ham, probably never. One thing, though, people here started a story about something, the journalists picked it up and made the company to make some moves. Powerful, don’t you think. If it wasn’t such a sad occasion, I would say we did a good job.

@11AKonmc-daw The company owes the employees everthing. They are the workforce and the ones that generate all the value not the execs.

When he was still alive, he laid off thousands of employees for his fat paychecks and bonuses so I do not think many are going to miss him.
