HPE Rehiring Policy

I was laid off by HPE a few years back. Am I eligible for rehire by HPE?

Exxon Mobil is hiring in Houston. Go there first.

I was rehired after being WFR'd and a few years later I was WFR'd again! I've had HP recruiters contact since then, and I have always politely declined their overtures. To be honest, I don't know what I was thinking when I went back. Now I know better.

Why go back now that you’re out? Sure a comfort zone has been established but they’re other companies that will hire you. Other hiring companies understand that HPE is a wreck, so being laid off from this company is not seen as a negative if you have great references that can to speak your productive work history.
Like the previous person said, why drive into high water!

Yes, generally they won't re-hire you. Then they will run and whine and cry to Congress, that they desperately NEED more "indentured servants" (AKA, H1B hires, allocations) because they simply can NOT find any qualified native-born workers.

They can do anything they want but generally they won’t rehire. Doesn’t hurt to try though.
