Thread regarding Walmart layoffs

Great Workplace Conversations

Our store manager just had a meeting with all of the management team. Not quit sure what was talked about but, we were just told that next week they will start conversations with everyone.

Anyone have any idea what this could be?

We were told only Fresh and Front End GWP would start this year and the rest of the store in February.

It was about the “Coach” position for Front End and Fresh. Front End is rolling out at my store before Fresh. Starts October 5th.

Well of course they will not implement until February. Someone has to run that stupid sale on Thanksgiving.

Any program from home-office is a joke; It never makes sense, and it always affects the workers.

This is another fabulous (sarcasm) idea from the Home Office. If you think your job and the working conditions s— now wait until GWP is implemented.

GWP = Godawful Worst Place

I have no clue. At this point it could be anything. Hoping they offer buyouts but that is just wishful thinking.
