Sam's Club used to be a great place to work. Everybody was on the same page and we worked as a team. No more. Mini micro management and intimidation have become the norm. The workplace has become hostile and every request is a threat on your job. The 3 basic beliefs aren't even given lip service anymore. Now it's every man for himself. Good luck to those who still believe they matter to this company.

We have some of our new team leads acting as bullies. They don’t know how to talk to people. Some have never been team leads, but the title has gone to their heads.
We also have some rude managers.
@xpo.. here in CA they are getting rid of the good CM's & assistant managers that don't lead through intimidation. MM's & regionals all lead through fear, intimidation & belittling over positive, strong, knowledgeable intelligent leadership. There's a few women still here but they just play our boys game. Don't have backbones to stand up against wrongdoings or mistreatment. Its definitely back to being the mismanaged boys club for sure.
In our club we call it the boys club
Our GM treats the women in the Club like c-ap and favors the boys. It is a "good old boys" mentality and it is disgusting. I have always been treated with respect until this joker came along and I can't wait for him to leave.
This is so sad. Management does not have to use intimidation tactics to get people to work. We have great managers and not so great managers. It would be interesting to see a chart of club rankings, all factors included, then I guess by magic, see these same clubs ranked by how the associates feel about the CM. I would bet that the clubs that the CM still cares, and follow the three basic beliefs will outrank the CM's that use intimidation every time.
Same way here 8196 club lots of managers bulling.
