OK so I am not sure if people here do not comment or share out of plain fear or if apathy has taken over. I am hearing that a huge project manager wipe-out is going to happen right after Q3, similar to the one last year when they flushed all the testers. Any comment or insight?

Consultants were brought in last year and did a huge lay off Oct 2018, lots of Elavon affected. Is that what's coming again?
Next two weeks .... they will lower the boom. October has proven to be the month it happens.
USB will RIF again. Retail, Community, and WM will be hit. Commercial and Corporate will feel minimal effects. Digital Transformation will be cited as the reason. Bank is not realizing expected benefits yet. They need to invest in being a better selling organization too, while becoming digital.
September will be when you start to see many back office roles disappear. Tellers are going away here soon. Will all be universal...one bank
All I know is that many of these professionals who portray themselves as AVPs or VPs will have a hard time explaining their roles in their upcoming job interviews after they are let go. How misleading it is that someone is a "Vice President" at US Bank, when in reality they are Business Analysts or Engineering Specialists? What a joke.
We have heard the September date mentioned many times with layoffs across the board. Consultants were brought in earlier this year. Anyone else with insight?
