my assumption when i first saw this earlier today was a former employee trolling.... we get it....you realize its the end of the quarter and often changes–big or small–can happen going into a new quarter. employees have now come to expect lowes to "tweak" things going into another quarter so chances are youre "right" – changes are coming – which then fuels the panic.

Anyone in these meetings care to share what's going on?

Corp has the names of many people posting on these boards and they are being let go this week. Source is store and district manager. (I'm a former employee, so they can't fire me)

I know it's going to be hard at first for the many associates that will be affected from the changes we have decided to make. It was decided that in order to be competitive we have to reduce our expenses and transition as much as possible to digital solutions. We set a goal to bring payroll down to 5% by 2021 and the steps we are taking this week is just the first of many needed to get there.

I thought of PSE for awhile until I realized if that was to happen, I think it would had when PSI went away back in Feb. Im sticking to my last post until I get to work and hear it myself.

I dont think it is Sales Specialist yet, unless they do away with Live Nursery or reduce the amount of Specialist down , Im just guessing RTM/Receiving Clerk being combined to 1 position, Front End Supervisor adding delivery/freight to their plate and losing Delivery Supervisor
FSA out with the new SAM system that just went live

sad thing is if I personally had bombshell info i would share it. give every detail i know. some anonymous person makes some cryptic post, provides no information and apparently its to be believed to everyones wildest imagination.

why the games? if you know something, share what you know. if you know nothing, then shut up.

what we do know is RTM will be transitioning into using an app. theyll be part rtm and part whatever the SM wants them to be

FSA likely going away

and delivery drivers are slowly being transitioned to 3rd party. RTM and delivery–especially appliance–have been targeted by marvin in a townhall. so thats no surprise.

My ASM (I'm a dept. sup.) wouldn't say what's going on, he did say the store manager and a couple of the ASMs have had enough and are putting their resignations in over it. He also said expect a lot of very unhappy associates.

Every non-management store employee (with the exception of kitchen designers, for now) making over $15 an hour is not going to employed for much longer.

I believe it’s more than just the FSA going away. There’s much more behind this.

ASMs all have meetings (lengthy) if that is to be believed and conversations with affected employees all week. SM has to call an ASM that is on vacation so it’s gotta be something at least relatively big.
