Thread regarding General Motors layoffs

The used car market is booming right now!

There are so many good use vehicles out there for sale that they are making great deals, locally in my area I have a friend that sells used and he said that business couldn't be better.
By used guys and don't support new, I saw a low miles mustang in new condition selling cheap along with GM trucks, engine is not even been fully broken in yet! I was told that buyers are sick of the new car prices and it's out of control. What do you guys think?

Cloth bench seats for 50k. Prices (especially at GM and Ford) are out of control. Just imagine what they could move with realistic pricing. I guess we all have to pay for silly and unrealistic “zero” visions and the capital they consume.

Who is the id–t who would even pay 33K for a used Silverado. Still too expensive. There are deals better than that. Anything over 25K is awful. It's just a dumb truck change your mindset.

Someone's got to pay the ridiculous markup so that we can buy second hand on the cheap. Can't have everyone win.

Vehicles depreciate over 20% over the first year, then over 15% the second year. A lot of good vehicles coming off of '16, '17 leases. You would be nuts to buy new. Why buy a new Silverado for $50K when you can get a perfect good used one for $33K that will last just as long?
