The UPS thing is just the store being a package babysitter/holding parcels for people or sending prepaid packages out that are already labeled based upon the CVS stores that have already been doing this for awhile, just piggybacking off of the daily packages we receive/send out anyways

This deal is all about the competition. Walgreens has a deal with FedEx, so naturally cvs makes a deal with UPS. The problem is UPS is probably gonna want someone to man this area so that when a customer comes in to ship/receive someone is always there ready to help, and cvs is not gonna allow that. The designated "ups person" will also be your main ringer, so if there's lines, the ups customer will just have to wait.
