Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

This way of scheduling is a trend in the retail business

This system of scheduling is a trend in the business rather than a specific thing that was done only at Sam’s. It doesn’t excuse the company for making such an id–tic move, but a frend of mine, who left the company because he couldn’t spend time with his family, got a job at one of the oher retal companies, where he faced a similar sistem of scheduling, only with a diferent name. Makes me wonder if the goal of the hole business is to reduce the number of employees.

Retail is dead end. Don't say you haven't been warned.

What goes around, comes around. Retail was 40 hours a week many years ago with some part time, and then part time became the norm. Now companies seem to be trying a mixture.

Why would anyone go from retail to retail? Get out of all of it. It's not that hard to learn something new.
