"flexible work hours" is not a job perk.....it literally means we will work you whatever hours the store is open lol.
Whole Foods (now owned by amazon) sent out postcards promoting their “hiring event” which in my area happens October 2, 2019. They offer a $15.00/hour starting wage, 20% discount, and flexible work hours. I plan on going to see what is up.
My brother loves working for Amazon and I plan on applying but not until next year. Between now and then I'm making sure to use my vacation time, all my holiday time, and as much of my sick time as possible (I'm thinking back injury) I will get every penny out of them humanly possible and talk as many customers as I can into shopping elsewhere.
I’ve read those stories too. But I have a co-worker at my new job that moonlights at Amazon. He’s been there 6 months and is already on a management track earning $23 an hour. He only works thursday, Friday, Saturday all night shifts. He love it and likes their medical and 401k. It’s worth looking into. They promote hard workers.
