ASM lashing out and having tantrum?

Have an ASM who got visibly upset over something that we deal with daily. He literally turned red and lashed out and began violently unboxing product and throwing stuff on carts and sweating profusely. It was shocking childlike behavior.

I assume he knew he was being emotional because later he brought me into his office and like some kind of bipolar person he began laughing and joking talking about how he has the best team.

I'm not 100% sure I can work for a person like this. Unstable and furthermore.. you don't treat people like that. Learn how to treat people with respect or talk to people.

You should report the behavior on ethics point, or email your corporate human resources.

Both will do nothing, but at least you acted professionally and did the right thing for all.

We have a mill work associate like this. Anytime he is tasked with doing work it becomes a noisy commotion; same physical manifestations, red face and sweating. He complains that the tasking (not a lot, down stocking a few doors) gets in the way of him doing his job. What he really does is look for camping and fly fishing gear online.

In the break room he’s all politics and conspiracy theories. Some associates eat lunch in their cars because they can’t stand him. Of course management does nothing.
