Where is the big Lowe’s NFL partnership push? Been watching all day.

If you want paint in NFL team colors you have to get Gliden and that means Home Depot.

I’d say the NFL partnership is more about box seats for Marvin and friends than promoting Lowe’s.

logos around the stadium or sets is meaningless to the average joe. who doesnt know bud or lowes exist in america?! id rather see the money spent on ads during the games telling about sales, promos, services provided etc. 30 seconds explaining why its worth your time to try lowes.

seems to be that this sort of sponsorship has more to do with access for executives than it does advertising a business. im sure all headquarters and regional execs now have boxseats in the stadiums so they can rub elbows with other arrogant execs from other corporations that, they too, are out of touch with their own businesses.

but then again i dont run a hedge fund and im not a day trader...not even a day drinker so i cant comment about budweiser either. so i will desperately wait for a podcast where marvin explains it all to me and then blesses me with divine blessings that only those who live in gated communities can bestow.

ah well they just ran a commercial. nearly 11pm est. time. probably cheaper time slot this late in the game.

The studio space says Lowe’s on a few of the sets from the morning games. Yippee they squandered more money on advertising they could have applied to software upgrades and retaining hard workers.

was literally coming on here to say the same thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thursday night game they ran a lowes commercial pretty early into the game. solid commercial i'll admit. tv ads are one of the few things i think the new regime has improved on from the stale tired ads under niblock.

sunday been watching all day...only ad i have seen was for home depot!! major fail to me.

same reason i think the ads have improved is the same reason they blew money becoming the corporate sponsor of the nfl and carolina panthers – corporate image/corporate brand/ego of the execs.

my guess is the only place lowes cant dictate anything is in the stadiums themselves. they still have to buy tv ads like anyone else. which will massively limit their reach. oh....and they can sell marked up nfl merch. who knows how much money they even make on that stuff.
