Marvin had off Labor Day, did you? Or did you work in an under staffed store to make more millions for Marvin and friends?

Ran the numbers, looks like my store ran a negative 5% comp on average, each day over the last week.
I worked, we did record sales, short staffed. Only perk was they brought sandwiches. I think it was the last payout for a meal we received. The store has taken away every reason to make a effort to sell. Now, we get a $500 to stop Employee Theft! Why work for a company that drives their employees to quit. The push to stop theft is going after the employees, customers walk out in front of Management. A LP trained CEO that is k–ling Lowe's.
I sure did—I left two years ago and now work for a small business making more money and we close for ALL holidays .
If you want to be off for holidays, then you need to get out of big box retail altogether. Otherwise, get used to it.
I was off labor day too and Memorial Day and 4th of July. Thanks to the hr manager lay-off I work for a government agency. Pretty happy that I don’t have to deal with the nonsense anymore and I honestly don’t know why I didn’t do it sooner.
I had Labor Day off, because I quit last Wednesday. After 16 years it was my first Labor Day off. It was well spent with family and friends and celebrating a new job that gets Labor Day off.
