Is there some internal site where i can get a copy of my employment contract. Been working for the company for a very long time so not sure what mine says regarding notice period.

It depends on where you work. In the US, unless you are an executive, you merely have an employment agreement. I don't recall any section in the agreement where a notice period is defined. As many know here, in the US, Oracle (and many other employers) don't give a notice before a layoff. Also, an employment agreement pretty much guarantees nothing for the employee, not a salary amount. Some years ago, HP unilaterally cut the salaries of its US employees 5%. Employees had no recourse.
In the UK I have heard of "zero hours contracts", which are given to hourly employees, which do not guarantee them any number of hours per week. Such a concept does not exist in the US, which is to say that unless you have a contract (most like through a union) that guarantees a number of hours then none are guaranteed.
Dropped massive load.
Aren't most of us employed "At will"? No accrued vacation, no bonus, no stocks...i.e. nothing that can be taken from us, at least from me.
Strictly speaking, you most likely don’t have a contract, and if you’ve been with oracle for a long time your offer letter may be very different from the more recent ones. Your best bet is to ask HR for a copy of your employee file, your offer letter should be there. By law, the cannot refuse it, but they may tell you to show up at HQ to review it, depending on where you live it may or may not entail a cost for you. Good luck !
