Why wasn't he fired for such an inappropriate comment. If we would have said that to a customer, we would have been fired, no questions asked.

Back when I worked at Corporate before the Huge layoff of 2017 when Lowes Stock was beat by Depot for 10 consecutive quarters......
there was an entire Marketing Department that WAS FIRED FOR USING THE WORD CHRISTMAS....INSTEAD OF HOLIDAY FOR A CHRISTMAS TREE TAB/FLYER.
