I hope they hurry up and announce it I'm waiting for the opportunity to take advantage of a separation package. I was hoping my department was selected , maybe this time.

Changes leading to reductions are definitely coming.
Where I'm at (Network Assurance), they recently assigned hard deadlines to automation projects that had no deadline. They also pulled people off of other big jobs in order to meet those deadlines. Those projects (some secretive, some publicly known) will likely lead to the loss 30-40% of whats left in my department.
