So far job hunting had s—ed. Too many companies let HR screen the resumes and they miss on good people. Thank god for the recruiters. They know the right people to contact and I have 2 job interviews lined up and both are light years better than the job I had at Noble.

I think the severance packages are minimum 3 months, or 2 wks per full year of employment (whichever of those 2 is greater), may be capped at a year if someone's a long time employee. Cobra is generally offered, I think, but insanely expensive; the regular insurance does end on the 31st, so get those dr visits in this week!
To the wife who posted that her husband's insurance will be cut off on 8/31 - they should have offered him the reduced Cobra price for 6 months. He should be able to pay the premium he's been paying until like February.
I'm so sorry about your husband. What office/department was he in?
Land/Lease & Contracts/GIS got hit yesterday. Comical because those groups are already understaffed.
Thought someone on here a couple of weeks ago said Marketing was in line for reductions.
They're safe now?
They say that the layoff is done. But they lie like dogs. I suspect there will be more next quarter. Merry Christmas!
Sounds like both employees and contractors in Greeley today too (~15 total) Anyone have info on packages - are they doing severance based on years of service or anything? I have a family this time through the layoff cycle and we are hoping to be as prepared as possible because there will be another round..... always is.
Noble laid my husband off today with no notice. Told him they will ship his belongings to him. He is 64...told us medical coverage will end 8-31-2019. I think that is totally heartless and so full off c-ap.
Noble again strikes on a Tuesday. It seems to be their favorite day for layoffs. By now they are experts at layoffs. They don’t do anything else well... but they execute lay-off as well as anyone.
Who in Denver? Which groups?
30 were let go in Den67ver.
The hard part is working the systems to get axe with a package.
105? Not enough to move the needle on the balance sheet, but perhaps enough to move the needle on leadership’s bonus target.
You don’t know it yet but the best thing that can happen to is to get laid-off by Noble. Trust me I know from my own experience. Noble is a bottom of the barrel company with no prospects and no future. It’s run by a bunch no of hope dolts. Time to move on.
Two contractors got axed in Greeley today. There will be more. They’re not done.
I got the axe last week. Done on 5 minutes notice. I got a package and a job interview this week. Best thing that could have happened. I hated that job.
Noble is laying off 105 people total with the vast majority above the age of 40.
