Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Is there any part of the business where AT&T is actually growing?

I can’t remember when I heard any good news about the company in the media. We’re a big company , and some segments are bound to be doing better than the others, but I certainly can’t see any segment of AT&T’s business that’s not in decline, much less growing. Is it just me, or are things really standing that way?

Constant growth in mobility. It’s endless. Copper is dead guys, that’s the harsh reality. Even mobility will have its day eventually the way technology is rapidly evolving, however. Landlines are going the way of the newspaper.

You must follow the investor relations site to understand our business (every quarter). Yes, there is growth in the business. Mobility is carrying the load with +50% in EBITA. Some BU's generate more and some ganerate less revenue. Flat revenue means AT&T is still makes tons of money.

One area of Randall's mess is definitely growing - THIS COMPANY'S DEBT!! The employees and shareholders may hate this company now, but the creditors love you Randall!

We've been told today, a new surplus has been announced, and Mobility isn't a part of it. Also been told we're the only ones making money for them. Not a brag or anything, just how it is.

Probably human resources is doing well. They have to process all of AT&T'S surpluses and grievances.

@10C4wdqc-qxh , maybe the OP can Google the financial results, but he/she certainly can't Google opinions and experiences of the people, and they paint a much better picture of the state some parts of the company than any excel sheet or whatever
