You really think the best way to respond to an unfair pay cut is to send customers to the competition? And what actually are you trying to accomplish?
You weren’t lied to so get over that. The current leadership (if you can call marvelous Marvin and his crew of Marvettes that) have decided to eliminate what a previous leadership team gave you. Employers can change the conditions of employment without obligation, you can also find new employment as well. I’m thinking that this is behind the changes; Marvin is trying to force out the older, long term employees so he can reduce payroll. Lowe’s doesn’t create jobs (programmers in Charlotte at $117,000/year) without eliminating others (all the cuts at the store level).

Oh please. If you’re that unhappy with your employment agreement, why don’t you just leave? That’s exactly what myself and others have done. Newsflash—companies have the right to change eliminate jobs and make changes to others. Get over your sense of entitlement.
