Indeed had a Rochester posting for Software Engineer. Mistake? Didn't they let them all go?

I can explain a little bit about TRSS – it is a separate US subsidiary. TR in the main is a Canadian based company and would not be allowed to take on the type of contracts TRSS holds with the US federal government. It has a separate board from TR, and SR holds a dual role as both the head of TRSS as well as managing director of the government segment for TR. Definitely a star within the company with terrific growth numbers-wise as well as in terms of adding heads.
Was the layoff that bad? At least for tech, most people landed on their feet, and also got a severance package. I heard more complaints from those that left early (and didn't get the package).

I still don't get it, it's under the TR brand but very separate in many ways. Other than moving out of Aqueduct, I don't think they were impacted by the layoffs.
Bet they are hiring for less after laying people off. So transparent.
What does TRSS stand for? How many work there? Any names TR people would know?
That's for TRSS, I never quite got the connection, but it's a separate division that still has a couple folks in Rochester. They moved into a different building near Frontier Field.
