Thread regarding CVS layoffs

Our store is a mess

With both people and hours cut - we don't have time to do half of the things that need to be done. And customers are starting to notice and comment on it. And what happens? We get chewed out! Even if it's not our fault in any conceivable way - I break my back while at work, I'm not idle for a minute. There is just not enough people to get everything done. I'm this close to just walking out one of these days - these are not healthy conditions to work in.

CVS has lost its mind... Give more hours better customer service better influx of money ...when all is done... Send extra people home . but at least take care of customers...
Leaving stock in bins in pharmacy for 2 weeks . then ordering off cardinal because you do not have time to put up order.
Wow great money saver there! Stop worrying about how heavy your pockets need to be now... Lwts take of customers get stock on shelves. Send home extra employees after pharmacy and stores are product till. Then the money runs.
Come on we no Corp are not rocket scientist....get it together will you.

Have high standards. Keep everyone accountable. Get the most out of your crew. The key is building a strong team and having your cashiers do more than just be cashiers. And I rarely work more than 50 hours a week.

Then please tell me how you get everything done on a skeleton crew with no hours, WITHOUT k-lling yourself or going into overtime? And do you do it without having to work beyond your scheduled hours?

To the previous poster. I get what you are saying yet still I don’t struggle. And all of my scores are top notch.

To the previous poster, corporate is making it so it’s virtually impossible to do our jobs! You CANNOT do the work of 4 people with only 2 and still expect to get everything done AND keep up your service scores!

If you can’t handle it then quit. Some people can handle it and some can’t. And if you can’t then they will just replace you with someone who can. Quit being lazy and just do your job.

The OP has a point. What IF one day, enough people got fed up with doing things the "cvs way" and just quit and walked out? Maybe then corporate would stand up and take notice!
