I hate this job today. Enough said.

The Care Management Assistant position is a scam. You are cold calling cranky elderly people all day. They don’t want to be called, they don’t want to do a survey. Your job depends on you getting these people to complete 10 surveys every day. You will be pulled into numerous meetings and have your performance scrutinized because people do NOT want to complete surveys. The pay is low, the insurance stinks. I can’t even afford my own Dr appointments while working here. Please don’t do it, work anywhere else but here. You will regret it
most of the people i talk to i cant even understand, NO ENGLISH. not to mention the 15 times you get transferred and have to ID yourself a million freaking times. I hate HUMANA. guess ill go traditional Medicare.
Worst job in the world is Humana/c3. It is absolutely horrible. I have thoughts of s–c-de every day. I hate the assho$e members that call in. They are so rude and hateful. I mostly get welfare people calling with their 300$ otc orders. The Louisiana women will call late at night when they know we are closing to place these huge orders. They never have them ready. I also get extreme amount of misrouted calls from lazy agents. They put the newbies that barely speak or write in the English language into the Pr-scrip-ion refills side. They also have Jamaca which is the capital of Fraud city into filling mail orders with their credit card info. The vacation is non existent and much needed. The sups do not help and ignore us. The actual employees for humana get paid more and get more vacation also.
How much smaller can the program get? If they can’t make any money then obviously the program will close .
Last poster, there is no need to be so rude! No , HAH will not end, but there will likely be future layoffs and the program will be downsized. They are trying all they can to generate more revenue and nothing seems to be working.
None of you are this stupid surely? This is just an act, right?
So if they do not have the Humana at home program in 2020 do we get severance or are the HCCP positions just dissolved
Return on investment. I believe this program will no longer be offered as a 2020 benefit. Just like the nurse line will no longer be offered in 2020
What is ROI?
My thought is 2020 will be final year for HAH, was obvious is was no longer putting in mega $$$'s in Humana pockets, Medicare had to cut back. Hope Humana changes TV infomercial's and does not make it sound that every Humana Medicare Advantage member will have there own personal care manager, false advertising.
My prediction is HAH will fir the most part be dissolved by 2021. There's no ROI and if you're not saving money, you'll be gone. Don't take it personally because you're all wonderful people doing what's right for the members!
I'm sick of it and I'm definitely looking for employment elsewhere. I wonder what they are telling new hires? Can't be the truth. I never in all my years working, have I ever been so micromanaged and scrutinized. I cannot believe what is coming out of my coach's mouth. No idle time on the mouse, chart care plans while talking to members, and dump old, sick members into monitored status and then have same members call us back the next week. Now that we're hourly pay instead of salary, it's "Oh, you have to take your breaks, lunch, and wellness time". Wellness time is a joke because they don't care about their nurses or their members. I've been told numerous times by my coach that if we don't start making a ROI, then this program will go away. So it's money, it's all about the money.
So it looks like HCCP RNs being told anywhere from 30 to 40 successful contacts a week. They can't even decide what's needed. That's a huge difference, especially when they want so much done AND want us to call monitored members who call in, spending our time but doesn't "count " in our metrics.
I do not understand why it is so difficult to determine what it will take to sustain HAH. What are our leaders doing? They are hiring and make it seem like HAH is thriving, but my gut tells me otherwise.
Yes. Totally hate this job. Worst nursing job I’ve ever had. Why am I still here? Because the schedule works for my family.
HCCP RN and we were told a couple weeks ago at least 7 but really need 8 to keep program viable. Otherwise costs are more than income generated.
We are still at 6 a day, 30 a week
Are the hcm rns being told a contact number? We have not heard one yet
We were told 35 a week min. HCCP
Move that mouse!
We are still hourly so as long as your varient looks active there is nothing more they can say. Take a picture of your time screen every day in case they come back on you. Let’s all take our lunch and two 15 min breaks and see how many contacts we make.
Today, We were told need 9-10 contacts a day.
You have every right to feel how you do. WAH is what keeps me here. I am sure others will have smart comments like go somewhere else etc. That is easier said than done and everyone’s experience is different. The daily policy changes are driving me crazy. We were told months ago quality not quantity was the focus and now we are being pressured to have 8 contacts per day.
