So if/when Eddie takes things over 100% I am wondering then if Sears doesn't have to report either the quarterly earnings nor any store closures that will (very likely) happen over the course of its limited existence.

Store level layoffs?
With all the talk of corporate layoffs, does anyone have concrete evidence of store level layoffs? My store still hasn't posted the schedules, and we just had a budget cut.
Since Eddie "saved" Sears, he has liquidated 3,000 stores and laid off 300,000 employees
look for more of the same this second go around should Judge Drain approve his bid. There's only 425 stores and 50,000 employees to go!
