Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

Eligible indirect stores can now process in store pick ups

Verizon is now allowing eligible indirect locations to process in store pickups! And if the cust wants to return the device they must go to a Corp store to process the return! Even the indirect store it was picked up at cannot process the return.

I have never seen a company work so hard to k--l off its own stores. It is so blatently obvious at this point Verizon is setting up corporate retail to fail. I guess when they start closing stores they will simply point to the poor pfermanceas the reason.

Corporate stores being rendered obsolete > corporate store closures > layoffs

What does this have to do with layoffs?

Its just another way Verizon is driving traffic away from their corporately owned stores.

Lets be realistic about in store pick up returns from an indirect store. In most cases the return would probably be an exchange. In that case return the original sale then process the new sale under your code after the return was done. That is the fairest way to doi it.
