has your manager brought up at a team meeting that they would not suggest posting on this board?

If my TM actually says in a meeting they don't want us to post on this site I will let you know, but really that would be very stupid to do, then again my TM isn't the brightest bulb in the lamp, he thinks he is..LOL It would just make those that weren't aware of this site aware.
Don't use SF WiFi EVER...they can monitor and see what sites you visit and what you post, so if you want SF to know your business then by all means use their "free" WiFi...but remember nothing is free, and SF is always watching you while you are at work, which is their legal right.
Remember that movie The Kingsmen: Secret Service, people thought they were getting free lifetime cellular and Internet connectivity..remember what happened? Nothing is ever truly free.

Judging by the number of people who already get away with spending their entire day on FaceTime, I doubt anything’s going to happen.
Anyone stupid enough that go here with their work computer deserves to get fired. Also, don’t go on here with your phone using SF WiFi because when you agree to use their WiFi, you also agree to be monitored to possibly evaluate your productivity. Read the fine print for yourself if you don’t believe it!
VPN if anyone believes it.
Termination? Threaten me with a good time!
@iep nails it
Talking about working conditions is protected under the National Labor Relations Act. His threat could be a violation of federal law as long as you don’t spread lies you know aren’t true or share trade secrets. Tell your manager to call the HRSS to let them know about this suggestion.
Very smart. They are tracking people posting. They will be terminated
In your case, you should follow your manager's advice if that is what they advised you, haha.
That would be id--tic. Ever hear of the Streisand effect?
