Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

The throne of lies...Marketing Leadership

The throne of lies..."no transition plans" in March...but in June there is one that leadership has been working on for months!

All the VP's, AVP's, Directors (-1 due to location) jobs are safe. Cutting one of the higher paid jobs would allow some managers and analysts keep their jobs. I'm sure Managers will take up the RA4 positions and RA4's that are close to retirement will be forced out by being offered RA3 jobs (Age Discrimination). Leadership asks for everyone's skills, which they should already be aware of, but, in the end, it's just a popularity contest. The writing is on the wall and we all know that everyone has been placed in the org chart months ago.

To the person that wrote, "Agencies are doing the all the work", is not aware of all the hard working people in the Marketing Department. In fact, DDB, makes up excuses, questions and under delivers! They should be fired! Wake UP!!!

MT said that we have the right amount of people to do the work now. So why is this happening?

Stop it. We all know you don't work at the farm and never have. We know exactly who you are. Your Whois information isn't nearly as private as you think it is.

As far as Marketing goes: it's been a throne of BS for years. I'm so glad to be out of there.

VPs, AVPs and Directors should be safe. Their vision is guiding the company. The rest are replaceable.

As someone who has already been through it, there’s nothing better for morale or motivation than keeping a bunch of people who reluctantly took a demotion just to keep their job.
